Don't worry -- I just decided to redecorate. How're things looking? Everything showing up properly? After staying up waaaaay too late, I had to just quit where I was at & decide to call it a 'work in progress'.
Just like me.

P.S. Yep. I designed everything myself...custom background, header, new fonts and buttons for the sidebar. Everything. It was great therapy, actually.
****UPDATE****: See my comment in the comments section for more details on my new design!

I love the fonts and the patterns you have put together! I am a scrapper so this is something I love!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I wish I had the time to learn how to do that!
ReplyDeleteHey Beck-Would you mind sharing what you are using...and maybe a few tips for those of us who are interested in changing our blogs???
ReplyDeleteThe background I actually made using free digital scrapbooking supplies from www.shabbyprincess.com. You'd have to have some sort of Photoshop to create the background, but I just read that there is a similar FREE program you can download called GIMP. I used Photoshop to create the header too. Headers are pretty easy. I'd make one for someone if they wanted to just add it to a premade layout from Cutest Blog on the Block.
ReplyDeleteThe tutorials for making the background & getting the post/sidebar titles in cool fonts can be found at www.kevinandamanda.com. They have LOTS of amazing fonts there for free download. I *love* me some great fonts!
Like the new look! Super cute:) I'm also a scrapper!
